Project Overload

There are so many projects and so little time.  I have made the decision that before I start another one, I will purge first.  I am the queen of purchasing without a purpose, and I am taking the advice of a crafty friend to not do that anymore.  And, I am going to make a list of the things that I want to accomplish (living comfortably in a small space without obastacle course stunts daily at the top of the list) and choosing one or two to complete.  Only then will I move on to the next one. 

Sooooooo...project one.

What will I start with? 

Naughty cornbread...

Yep.  It's naughty allright.  You make this cake pan full of sweet, moist, butter-melting, go with anything cornbread with a cake mix.  I was not disappointed.  Neither was anyone else who eats here.  Go ahead, try it. 

Weekend plans...

Don't come looking for me this weekend. 

I will be here.  Yay!

Could you just die?

Polaroid Love

iPhone pictures are not the greatest, but I found an app via Ali Edwards and Shutter Sisters that highlighted an app called Shakeit Photo.  You take the picture and shake the phone to develop the picture just like a polaroid.  (It even makes the cute little camera sound).  The harder you shake the phone, the more different the development of the photo is.  Here are two.  The first one was shaken just a bit, and the second was shaken almost until the full development.  It's worth the 99cents at iTunes!

Inspiring minds want to know...

...how to keep the creativity in the game of life, laundry, kids, must see TV :), and chores...oh, and work.  I have had a hard time lately juggling all the things I want to do and the thoughts in my mind.  They run like mice on a wheel...so many things I want to try.  So many to create.  So many to plan.  But I have been lax in sitting down to do them.  I must say that planning has come a bit easier this year, and that I am on the right track, but I still have more pieces to add to the puzzle.  Anyway, on to more inspiration, and here's to a sweet friend that kicked me in the pants to get my blogging back on track! She's just about as cute as cute can get!

And this little blog, TomKat Studio, just helped me decide that all little girls need a fairy/flower birthday party.  Especially little girls that are named Katie and will be three four this year (what was I thinking?).

I must perfect my cupcake skills. :)

Tomorrow, I have plans to create a gift card book, make some Valentines, and materialize some ideas floating around in my head. I will leave you with one last picture from Cassie.  This is my favorite from her last couple of posts...mainly because that is a super sweet kitty sitting on her bed. :)
