Ahhh....yummy!  I am going to make them next weekend when the boys are here, so I will post an update of the process then.  But, go here to try them yourself sometime!  And, what a cute little blog that goes with them.  I will add it to my reader list.  :)

Organization skills...

The next organization project that has been on my list is my scrapbook/stamp/craft stuff.  And there's a lot of it.  It never has had a home where it all lives together; I have buried the dining room table more than once only to get frustrated with the mess and put it all back up again, in separate rooms of the house.  So, I decided that finally I needed to make a spot for myself.  Now, here is where some of you may say that I am mean...I decided that the boys have to share their room.  *gasp* Oh, yes, I told them that we could scrapbook together.  Ha! That went over really well....  Anyway, here is the dreaded before shot.  Pardon the bad photography on this one.

And here we are after, with the cute little IKEA table found on craigslist, and the cute IKEA baskets and magnetic boards borrowed from the boys who don't use them anymore.

Now, I bet you think I cheated and shoved that big mess under the table, right? 

Nope.

I happen to be a big fan of vintage luggage, and I am on the hunt for it at every estate sale I venture into.  It makes a perfect little home for paper, punches, and adhesives.  You just latch the top and go.  Love!

There is still more to go through, weed out, give away, and repurpose, but I'll get there. 

For now, I am happy to have a place to be. 

If I were 20 again...

I would...

And when we got back we would go here, and then whisper about wishing

to be a ballerina someday.

And we would take our cameras everywhere,

so that we would never forget eachother.

We would spend more time dreaming,

instead of worrying that the laundry wasn't folded that day.

We might get a little adventurous,

and get one of these.

because we love sweet things so much.

And we would never, ever,

regret the last bite.

Eating well..

Valentine's Day brings in all the pinks and reds.  What?  They aren't part of the food pyramid?  Are you sure? 

Have you tried these?  YUM-O.  Just sayin'. And I think they look pretty in my milk glass dish.  OK, is this better?

We made these little beauties for Valentine's Day.  By the way, Dove Dark Chocolate is good on fresh grapes too. 

I guess I better find recipes with more food groups.  I am challenging my students to two weeks of eating healthy next week.  I'm not sure I will win if I keep shopping the Target Valentine Clearance.
