Love Your Teacher: Crayola and Gum in a Gift!

There's not much that smells better than opening a new box of Crayola Crayons. Right? For our teacher gift yesterday, we purchased new crayons, packaged them up with bright chewing gum, some Pentel InkJoy pens in vivid colors, and a tag that says, "I have had quite a "colorful" Kindergarten year; thanks for helping me learn to stay inside the "lines."" We gave these to all of Katie's teachers that she sees at school; for the coach in gym, we decided to add a tennis ball instead of crayons. Another cute idea for her would have been bright sidewalk chalk.

Little Miss Chatterbox helped me finish these up while she had lunch on stage, and we stuffed them in the teachers' mailboxes for a surprise as they passed through the lounge. Crayons can make any busy day seem a little more stress free, don't you think?

Thanks for adding feathers to my nest! Have a wonderful day!

How Feed the Birdies flew in....

Once upon a time two little boys ate Happy Meals in the middle seat of a Ford minivan. Not quite willing to eat the last few fries, they launched them out the door screaming, "feed the birdies!!" And so my journal of a road through motherhood and wifedom, with a little bit of crafting on the side...where everybirdy gets a french fry. And we're all happy about it.
